Marie Granger

Marie Granger, 85, died Friday December 7, 2012 in a local care center with her family at her side.

Marie was born June 4, 1927 in Fenton, LA to Tom and Helen Magnus Hebert. She was of the Catholic faith and a loving and caring mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She will be missed by all who knew her.

Preceding Marie in death were her parents, loving husband Isaac Granger, and sons, Ray Fontenot, who died as a young child, and Ray Granger; and brother, Joseph Hebert. Those left to honor and cherish her memory are a son, Donnie Fontenot, Lake Charles; Brother, John Hebert and wife Gloria, Moss Bluff; sister-in-law, Bernice Hebert, Lake Charles; grandchildren, Ricky Fontenot and wife Sherree, Donald Fontenot and wife Stacey; Asa Granger and Timmy Granger; great-grandchildren, Logan Fontenot, Nicole Fontenot, Amber Fontenot, all of Lake Charles, and Jamie Jeffers, PA; and great-great grandchildren, Raleigh and Klowie.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:30 PM Monday, December 10, 2012 at Johnson Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be at 1:30 PM at the funeral home with Father Keith Pellerin officiating. Burial will follow at Hebert Cemetery in Hecker, LA.
