Marie Lorraine Jeansonne

Marie Lorraine Jeansonne, 58, passed away at her home on January 13, 2018.

Ms. Lorraine was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Ville Platte, LA and then moved to Lake Charles, LA where she spent the next thirty years and raised a family. Ms. Lorraine was a generous and very prayerful woman and attended Our Lady Queen of Heaven Catholic Church. She was a lover of classic rock music and enjoyed singing at church. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren. Her family fondly remembers this past Christmas when the family got together in Ville Platte.

She is survived by her daughter, Bridgette Phillips and husband John; son, Alex Jeansonne, and girl friend Stacy; two grandchildren, Xavier and Damien Phillips; two sisters, Darlene Arnaud, and Sandra Fontenot and husband (Kirk); and brother, David Arnaud.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Mary Lourie Arnaud; and father, Irvine Joseph Arnaud.

A funeral service will be held at Johnson Funeral Home at 2PM on January 16, 2018. Cremation will follow the service. Father Nathan Long will officiate. A rosary will begin right before the service at 1:30PM. Visitation will begin Tuesday morning at 10AM until the start of the rosary.
