Marie Louise Boudoin Young

Marie Louise Re-Re Boudoin Young, 79, of Lake Charles passed away Monday, August 27, 2012 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Young was born in Iowa and was a life long resident of Lake Charles. She was a graduate of Marion High School. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Young will be most remembered for her love of her family.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 61 years, Verner C. Young; one daughter, Sandy Steffens and husband Mark; one son, Ray Young; two grandchildren, Hollie Donnelly and husband Trevor and Sara Walters and husband Jeremy; four great-grandchildren, Cameron and Natalie Walters and Maggie and Allie Donnelly; one sister, Mabel Trahan, all of Lake Charles and one brother, Albert Boudoin of Deridder.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Elaire and Ezora Boudoin; three sisters, Anita LeBleu, Elda Dartez and Una Cook and one brother, John Boudoin.

Funeral services will be at 2:00 PM Thursday, August 30, 2012 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Chris Fuselier will officiate. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation Thursday will be from 10:00 AM until the time of service in the funeral home.
