Marie Richard

Marie Richard, 87, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2021.  Marie was a member of Allegro-Roadrunners Club, Calcasieu Boat Club, and the Port Arthur Boat Club.  She was a lifetime member of PTA.  Marie loved traveling, camping, and cooking for her family.

Marie is survived by her son, Tony Richard and wife, Vickie of Carlyss, LA; her daughter, Jo Ann Priddy and husband, Guy of Orange, TX; and her son in law, David Tyler of Katy, TX; 11 grandchildren, Daria Marie Guevara, Amber Sanchez, Paul Tyler, Daniel Tyler, Matthew Simpson, Jo Ellen Clark, Brett Simpson, Lance Richard, Layne Richard, Layton Richard, and Lawson Richard; 12 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Richard; her parents, Lana and Erise Fontenot; one daughter, Dorothy Tyler; and her siblings, Joe Fontenot, Sr., Jimmy Fontenot, Thelma Mitchell, Esma Stanley and Lucille Bergeron.

Services for Marie will be held on Monday, January 3, 2022, at 10 AM at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur.  The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 2, 2022, from 4-8 PM with a rosary at 6 PM.  Visitation will resume on Monday from 8 AM until the time of service.  Burial will be at Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss.
