Marina Bellow Lemonia

Marina Bellow Lemonia, 77, of Fenton died Sunday, May 13, 2018 in a local care facility.

Mrs. Lemonia was a native of Mallet, LA and has lived most of her life in Fenton. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, coloring, “BANGO”, baking, flower gardening and most importantly, making another pot of coffee for family and friends that stopped by for a visit. Her greatest love was “being surrounded by children”. Mrs. Lemonia will be most remembered for her homemade biscuits and for her positive outlook and influence. She was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church and Ladies Altar Society.

She leaves to cherish her memory, seven children, Marcellia LeDay (Clifford) of Kinder, Deborah Dickens and Calvert Lemonia (Shirley) both of Fenton, Mary Coleman of Lake Charles, Bradley Lemonia (Alaina) of Welsh, Felton Lemonia, Jr. (Saralyn) of Fort Worth, TX and Barbara Lemonia of Lake Charles; sister-in-law, Elsie Mae Papillion Bellow, Mallet, LA; twenty-nine grandchildren; fifty-one great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild; one brother, Hilton Bellow (Jennifer) of Lake Charles; two sisters, Mary Arceneaux (Daniel) of Lake Charles and Ella Louise Carr (Arthur) of Madison, AL and one godchild, Donna Richardson of Madison, AL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Durrell and Torry Thierry Bellow; husband of fifty-four years, Felton Lemonia; son, Richard Lemonia; grandchild, Destiny Lemonia; two brothers, Henry Bellow and Austin Bellow; two sisters, Sayretha LeDay and Barbara Jean Bellow, godmother, Francis Guillory; and two godchildren, Erna and Joanne.

A Mass of Christian burial will be at 12:00 PM, Saturday, May 19, 2018 at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Fenton. Father Roland Vaughn will officiate. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Fenton. Visitation Saturday will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel with a rosary beginning at 9:00 AM.
