Marion Everist Primeaux

Marion Evarist Primeaux, 84, of Creole, died Monday April 15, 2013 at his residence.

He was born to Ovay and Enolia Boudoin Primeaux in Creole on February 24, 1929. A lifelong resident of Cameron parish, Mr. Primeaux retired from the Cameron Parish Police Jury as a maintenance worker. He was of the Catholic Faith and a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Creole.

He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Euel Primeaux. Those left to honor and cherish his memory are many cousins, including his caregivers, Steve and Rhonda Papadimitriou, Lake Charles; Rickey Portie and wife Linda, Lake Arthur; Robert Portie and wife Barbara, Creole and Robert Primeaux and wife Jean of Grand Lake; and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3:00 PM Thursday April 18, 2013 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Creole Highway in Creole with Father Tim Goodly as celebrant. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM Wednesday, with a Rosary being recited at 6:00 PM, and visitation will resume from 10:00 AM until 1:15 PM Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Catholic Church Cemetery in Creole.

Pallbearers will be Steve Papadimitriou, Chad Primeaux, Phillip Primeaux, Billy Portie, Chad Portie and Greg Broussard.
