Marjorie Marie Conner

Marjorie Marie Conner, 90, of Lake Charles died Wednesday February 25, 2015 at a local hospital after a brief illness. Mrs. Conner was born on February 26, 1924 in Lake Charles to August and Josephine Boyer Bertrand. She was a life long resident of Lake Charles and devoted member of The Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception. She leaves to honor and cherish her memories her beloved husband of 60 years, Claude "Black" Conner; children, Mary Skinner and husband James; Patrick Conner and wife Carolyn, all of Lake Charles; and Karen Conner-Hyatt and husband George, Denver, CO; seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM today, February 27, 2014, at Johnson Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be observed at 10:00 AM Saturday February 28 with Father Rommell Tolentino serving as the celebrant. Entombment will follow at Consolota Cemetery.
