Marjorie Savoie Johnson

Marjorie Savoie Johnson, 80, of Lake Charles, LA died at 11:33 PM on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Johnson was born January 14, 1933 in Weeks Island, LA and lived most of her life in Lake Charles, LA. She was the longtime owner of Eastown Trailer Village and also owned Ninety East Mobile Estates.

Mrs. Johnson is survived by her son, Vincent Rogers and wife Doris of Lake Charles; and grandchildren, Amber and Keith Rogers.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Malcolm Johnson; parents, Wilfred Savoie and Elma Lofton; and brother, Wilfred Leon Savoie.

The family would like to express a special word of thanks to her friend and caregiver, Brunella McGee.

Her body was cremated under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. A private graveside service will be at Consolata Cemetery.
