Mark Alan Bergeron

Mark A. Bergeron, 51, of Lake Charles passed away, Saturday, January 3, 2015 in his residence. Mark was a native and life resident of the Lake Charles area and graduated from Sam Houston High School. He loved spending time with his family especially his grandchildren , family, cooking gumbo and telling stories. Mark was an avid fisherman, and enjoyed photography, and talking to people around the world on his C. B. Radio. He was a truck driver for many years and worked at several petrochemical plants working with heavy machinery. He was a certified NCCCO Crane Operator for many years. Survivors include his loving wife, Julia Gieger Bergeron; daughter, Sandra Bergeron Didelot; son, Jacob Alan Bergeron; two stepsons, Cory Allen Deville, and Richard Joseph Deville; ten grandchildren; three brothers, Michael, Jimmy, and Kenneth Bergeron. Services will be at 2:30 PM Friday, January 9, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until 2:30 PM Friday, January 9, 2015 at Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. Ronnie Estes will officiate services. Burial will follow at Consolata Cemetery.
