Mark Anthony Peroni, 60, of Lake Charles passed away on Saturday, September 12, 2020 at Grace Health and Rehab Center in Slaughter, LA.
Mr. Peroni was born on May 20, 1960 in Lake Charles, LA to John and Velma Lantia Peroni. He was a 1978 graduate of Peabody High School in Alexandria, LA. His family moved many times, since his father was in the military, finally settling in Lake Charles in 1978. He worked for Lee Dee Wholesale for many years as a Warehouse Stocker and Driver. He also worked as a stage hand for concerts at the Lake Charles Civic Center.
Mark was a loving, humble, and big-hearted man. He enjoyed rock music, and playing guitar with his brother Jimbo Peroni and good friends , Tracy McGinnis, Donald Landry, Paul Shortt, and Jim Rosteet. He also enjoyed time spent with his family and friends for gatherings and barbecues. More than anything, he loved and adored his nieces and nephew.
Those left to cherish his memory are, his mother Velma Peroni; his brother, Paul Peroni (Christie Romero); his nieces, Sydnie Duhon (Doug), and Kara Peroni; his nephew, Dalton Peroni; his step-nieces, Bethanie Carrazco, and Abbie Turner; and his step-nephew, Brennon Patin and all of his cousins.
He was preceded in death by his father John Peroni; and his brothers, Jimmy and Kevin Peroni.
Services will be held at Johnson Funeral Home in Moss Bluff on September 17, 2020. Visitation will begin at 10:00a.m. with reciting the rosary at 11:30AM. The funeral service will be at 12:00 PM and Father Aubrey Guilbeauwill officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
