Mark Douglas Farr, 52, of Sulphur, LA passed away at his residence on Tuesday, May 19, 2015 surrounded by family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Thursday, May 21, 2015 at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel, officiated by Reverend Steve Shirley. Burial will follow at Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur, LA. resuming on Thursday at 9 A.M. until time of the service. Mark was born in Ft. Benning, Georgia on August, 24, 1962. He grew up in LuLing, LA where he graduated from Hahnville High School in 1980. He then attended Nicholls State University and McNeese State University on a golf scholarship. Later he worked in the automotive industry for many years before moving to Lake Charles in 2006. In 2007, Mark married Melisa Robison and began working along side her at Robison Funeral Home in Sulphur, LA. Mark loved playing golf, fishing and spending time with his family. He was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. Mark is survived by his wife, Melisa Farr of Sulphur, LA; daughter, Tabitha Lyn Farr of New Orleans, LA; two sons, Tyler Farr of Sulphur, LA and Connor Farr of Woodbridge, VA; step-daughter, Macy Robison and fiancé Joseph Tucker of Baton Rouge, LA; step-son, Mac Robison of Austin, TX; parents, Doug and Billie Farr of Lake Charles, LA; sister, Angela Farr of San Antonio, TX; grandson, Karsen Lee Farr of Sulphur; nephew, Cade Farber of San Antonio, TX; niece, Astri Farber of San Antonio, TX; along with a host of aunts, uncles and friends. Pallbearers will be Rick Bird, Frank LeBaron, Joseph Tucker, Mac Robison, Tyler Farr, and Cade Farber. Honorary Pallbearers will be Connor Farr and David O'Neil.
