Mark R. Edmiston

Mark R. Edmiston, 48, passed away Sunday October 30, 2011 at his residence in Iowa.

Mark was born in Springfield, IL on June 4, 1963. He moved to Lake Charles in September 2005 and moved to Sherman, Texas in September of 2010. He was an IT gaming systems manager in Durant, OK.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kimberly Edmiston; daughter, Kathryn Edmiston; mother and step-father, Nancy and Richard Hake; mother-in-law, Louise Lester; brother, Todd Edmiston and wife Julie; aunt, Kay Loveless and a host of friends and family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Louis Edmiston; grandmother, Ileen Mattson and Nanouk, a beloved Alaskan Malamute who passed away the night of Mark's death.

A private family gathering will be held in Perdido Key, Fl. at Johnson State Park for Mark and Nanouk. A ceremony will be conducted by a close family friend, Marty Morris and his wife, Carol.

The family requests donations be made in Mark's memory to the American Heart Association.
