Mark Steven Huber, 62, of Lake Charles died at 7:38 AM on Saturday, September 10, 2016 in his residence.

 

Mr. Huber was born on October 19, 1953 in Bossier City, LA and lived in the Lake Charles area most of his life. He was a graduate of Lake Charles High School before serving in the U.S. Air Force. Mr. Huber was a self employed skilled master carpenter. He was of the Catholic Faith.

 

He will be remembered for his loving and caring spirit who enjoyed visiting and good company. Mr. Huber never met a stranger. He was always reliable and you could count on him.

 

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Glenda Huber of Lake Charles; a daughter, Nicole Clayton of Olive Branch, MS; two sons, Dominic LeDoux and Matthew Huber; a step daughter, Michelle Nimmo of Lake Charles; two step sons, Dennis Morrell of Iowa and Jeff Morrell of Sulphur; three sisters, Gail Hinton, Hollie George, and Natalie Huber and their respected spouses; seven brothers, Larry, Mike, David, Philip, Raymond “Chuck”, Paul, and Todd Huber and their respected spouses; thirteen grandchildren; and one great grandson.

 

He was preceded in death by his mother, Ramona Huber; his father, Sam “Sammy” Huber; a grandson, Tyler Rogers.

 

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 17, 2016 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. A gathering of family and friends will begin at 12:00 noon until the start of the service.
