Marta Iris Siso (Galindo)

Marta Iris Siso (Galindo), 75, of Westlake, LA passed away Monday, January 8, 2024 in the comfort of her home surrounded by family.

Mrs. Siso was born in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico where she was raised, educated, married and started her family.  In 1979 her husband was transferred from the P.P.G. Industries plant in Puerto Rico and moved the family and made Westlake their home.  A lady of faith and prayer, she was an active member of St. John Boscoe Catholic Church for many years.  She enjoyed baking and cake decorating, traveling to spend time with family and cherished her travels to the Holy Land of Jerusalem.  She also enjoyed the time she shared as the caretaker of her grandchildren before they were of school age as well as the countless visits from her grandchildren to spend time with her.  Mrs. Siso will be most remembered for her love and devotion to her family.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her beloved husband of fifty years, Angel L. Siso of Westlake; son, Luis Manuel Siso of Lake Charles; daughter, Idalia Breaux and husband Jarrod of Lake Charles; two grandchildren, Addison and Aiden Breaux, both of Lake Charles; two brothers; five sisters and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.

Visitation for family and friends will be Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM with a Scripture service and Rosary prayer service beginning at 6:00 PM in the chapel of Johnson Funeral Home.  Deacon Josue Canelo will lead the services.  A Mass of Christian burial and Interment services are pending in Sabana Grande, Puerto Rico.
