Martha Thibodeaux

Martha Robin Thibodeaux, 64, of Sulphur, passed away in a local hospital surrounded by her loving family. Martha loved watching football, and her favorite teams were the Saints and LSU. She was a huge fan of quarterback, Drew Brees. Martha loved to craft, sew, make wreaths, and cook. Her family looked forward to her cherry-yum-yum and her four-layer delight. Martha was an animal lover and she cared deeply for her cat and dog. She loved to travel with her husband, play D.J. with the radio, do karaoke, and sing songs they made together while traveling. Martha believed in God and would tell people that she was waiting on her miracle even till the end of her journey. She loved to support her grandchildren and would show up to their activities and cheer them on in true MiMi fashion.

Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Crystal Leigh Morgan (Caleb), Robyn Denise Gibson (Timothy), Doctor Dennis Keith Gibson II (Wanda), Keith Gibson, grandchildren, Alexus Leigh Gibson, Kaylin Nicole Morgan, Tristan Isiah Morgan, Laiana DaMon Hunt, Alaiah D’asia Hunt, Aniya Jaylen Stewart, Layla Marie Stewart. Alijah D’Andrew Hunt, Tristian Bernard Hunt.

Martha was preceded in death by her father, R.W. Beasley and her husband, Ronald Aleic Thibodeaux.

The family would like to thank Lake Charles Memorial Hospital oncology department, West Calcasieu Cameron Hospital ICU and Heart of Hospice for their care of our mother.

Services for Martha will be Thursday, December 21, 2023, at 11 AM at Christian Life Church with Pastor Marcus Wade officiating.  The family will receive friends from 9 AM until the time of service. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the American Cancer Society be made in Martha’s honor.
