Marty Chehotsky

Martin L. Chehotsky, or Marty as his friends called him, passed away on September 17, 2018 surrounded by his loving family.

Marty was well respected in his chosen profession and active in the local community. He was a big supporter of McNeese State University and respected by his fraternity brothers. Marty was always willing to help those who needed help.

Marty was preceded in death by his parents, Ted and Bettye Chehotsky and his brothers Stan and Mike.

Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 40 years, Nancy, his sons Thomas, Nicholas, John, David and Andrew. God blessed him with six beautiful grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Darryl along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

A special thank you to the doctors, nurses and staff at St. Patrick’s Hospital for the compassion and support.

There will be a celebration of life at Johnson Funeral Home on Saturday, September 22, 2018 from 11AM-3PM. Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
