Marvin Crumpler

Marvin Ray Crumpler, 67 passed away on July 13, 2015 in a local hospital surrounded by his family. Marvin was retired from the food industry. He was a concert level pianist. Music was Marvin's life. Marvin graduated from Westlake High School and attended Gulf Coast Bible College in Houston and McNeese State University. Marvin is survived by one sister, Eula Hebert; three brothers, Billy, Bobby and Kenneth Crumpler; numerous nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends. Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Shelby and Atsie Crumpler; one sister, Diane Dubose; and two brothers, James Otha Crumpler and Dulin Clifton Crumpler. Services for Marvin will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015 at 10 am at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 16, 2015 from 5-9 pm and resume Friday morning at 9 am until the time of service. Burial will follow at Magnolia Cemetery in Westlake.
