Mary Alice Castille

Mary Alice Castille, 84 of Carlyss, received her heavenly reward on February 10, 2016. She was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, LeeWood Castille. She was a devoted wife, loving mother and amazing grandmother. She was a faithful member of Choupique Baptist Church for over 30 years. Mary enjoyed eating out, especially at Holliers and spending time with her family. She never met a stranger and was always known for her blue eyes and comforting contagious smile.

Those left to cherish loving memories are her children, Itasca Broussard and husband Dan, Cynthia Kinney and husband Charles, Calvin Castille and wife Winona, and Liz LeBlanc and husband Charles, all of Carlyss; 12 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild; her brother, Henry Pendarvis and wife Becky of Carlyss; and 2 sisters, Faye Benoit and husband Ray of Huntsville, TX and Molly Hebert of Scott, LA. She was preceded in death by her grandson, Clinton Jones; her great grandson, Bryant Vidrine; her sister, Grace Jones and her brother, John Pendarvis.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at 1 P.M. at Victory Worship Center in Sulphur with Rev. Nay Vickers officiating. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday, February 12, 2016 from 4- 9 P.M. at Victory Worship Center West Building with visitation continuing on Saturday from 9 A.M. in the Sanctuary until time of the service.
