Mary Ann Tramonte Valenti

Mary Ann Tramonte Valenti, 86, was born August 18,1930. She passed away on May 22, 2017 while visiting relatives in Louisiana.

Mary Ann was born and raised in Lake Charles LA., and attended Lake Charles High School.  In 1954 she married Henry (Hank) Valenti and the following year they moved to San Jose, CA., where she resided for the remainder of her life.  She retired from Wells Fargo Bank after 26 years of service.

She is survived by her two children, Joellen (Jim) Ryan of Campbell, CA, and Sal Valenti of Arroyo Grande, CA.  Also left to cherish her memory are: her five grandchildren Mark, Craig, and Jaclyn Ryan, Tyler and T.J. Valenti; her brother, Vito A. (Barbara) Tramonte of Sulphur, LA;  sister, Antoinette Wilkinson of Lacassine, LA; sister in law, Dell Faye Tramonte of Lake Charles; and, numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary Ann is preceded in death by her parents; Anthony and Frances Tramonte, husband, Hank Valenti, and brother, Nick Tramonte.

A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, June 5, 2017, at 6pm at Johnson Funeral Home on Lake Street in Lake Charles, LA.  The family will receive guests from 4:30 - 6 pm. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
