Mary Claudette "Sis" Menard, 75 of Sulphur passed away on August 4, 2014 in a local hospital. "Sis" was a lifelong resident of Sulphur and worked at the Boudin Kitchen and the Boiling Point for many years. "Sis" enjoyed playing bingo and drinking coffee with her sister. She loved being around her family, especially her grandchildren. "Sis" is survived by her daughter, Michelle Menard of Sulphur; "son", Danny Boy Doucet of Sulphur; granddaughters, Kayla and Kimberly Menard both of Sulphur and Karley Draper of Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Payson and Easton Boudreaux and Ryder Draper; 3 sisters, Helen Domingue, Claudia Spell and husband, Pat and Mary Delosey and husband, Roy all of Sulphur; and a brother, Willard, Doucet of Alto, GA. She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward "Eddie" Menard; parents, Jules and Philoman Doucet; 5 brothers and a sister. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2014 at 3 p.m. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Richard Doucet officiating. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday, August 7, 2014 from 9 a.m. at the funeral home until time of the service.
