Mary Delores Spell

Mary Delores Spell, 78, passed away Wednesday, April 6, 2022. She was born on December 24, 1943 in DeRidder, LA to John and Audie May Lott Nichols.
She grew up in Merryville, LA, and graduated from Merryville High School. She worked at Runte Lake Cleaners for many years. Mary enjoyed camping and gardening. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who adored her family, and loved nothing more than spending time with them, making sure everyone was well fed. She was headstrong but compassionate. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Those left to cherish her memory are, her daughter, Teri Lamberth (Gregory); her son, Craig W. Spell (Dee Dee); her grandchildren, Joshua Lamberth (Hannah), Jonathan Lamberth, Jessica Spell, David Spell (Courtney) and Devyn Jordan (Truitt); her step-grandchildren, J.P., Tyler and Dustin Vaughn; and eight great grandchildren; and her dog, Buddy.
Her funeral service will be held at 12:00 PM on Monday, April 11, 2022 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel located at 4321 Lake Street. Msgr. Jace Eskind will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 10:00 AM until the start of the service.
