Mary Elizabeth Busby. 56, of LeBleu Settlement, Louisiana died at 3:10 AM Saturday, December 13, 2014 in her residence with her loving family at her side. Mrs. Busby was born on October 15, 1958 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. She had previously lived in Lake Charles, Louisiana for the past 12 years before moving to LeBleu Settlement six months ago. Mrs. Busby attended Iowa High School. She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church in Saucier, Mississippi. In her spare time she enjoyed spending time with her family and friends especially her two grandsons. Mrs. Busby also enjoyed her morning coffee, crossword puzzles and watching Law and Order on television. She is survived by her loving husband of 14 years, Mr. Robert Busby Jr., of LeBleu Settlement, LA, one son, Gary Tilley, Jr. and his wife Camilla of Iowa, LA, three daughters, Geneieve Strauch of LeBleu Settlement, LA, Harriette Khan and fiancé', Jaquin Collins of Jennings, LA, and Dorothy Midgett and husband Robert of Iowa, LA, three sisters, Martha Fontenot of Sulphur, LA, Laurie Guillory of LeBleu Settlement, LA, and Vickie LeBleu and husband Paul of LeBleu Settlement, LA, two brothers, Robert Newman of Iowa, LA and George Newman and wife Judy of LeBleu Settlement, LA, five grandchildren, Justice and Wade Strauch of LeBleu Settlement, LA, Chadd Martin of Iowa, LA, Justin and Candace Clement of Iowa, LA and her goddaughter, Alexis LeBleu of LeBleu Settlement, LA, ,mother-in-law, Audrey Busby of Kinder, LA. Mrs. Busby is preceded in death by, one sister, Maxine Newman Marsh, two brothers, Otis and Hugh Newman, and her parents, Maxie and George Newman, her father-in-law Robert Busby, Sr. and her life friend, Gary Tilley, Sr. Her funeral will be held on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. Otis Marsh will officiate. Burial will be in the old Ritchie Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Tuesday at 10:00 AM until 9:00 PM and will continue on Wednesday at 8:00 AM until the time of services.
