Mary Jeanette Duhon

Mary Jeanette Duhon, 49, passed away Sunday, June 5, 2011. She was a native and resident of Grand Lake.

Ms. Duhon was born January 27, 1962 to Alverd P. Duhon and Enola Fontenot Duhon. She was devoted to her family and was a friend to all. She will be dearly missed to all who knew and loved her.

She is survived by her three children, Russell S. Nunez and wife Diane of Grand Lake, Melonie D. Brister and husband Micah of Big Lake, Victoria L. Nunez of Grand Lake; one brother, Charles Duhon and wife Shirley of Lake Charles; three sisters, Margaret Hebert of Lake Charles, Lula B. Barrilleaux and husband Daniel of Big Lake, Jennifer Duhon of Houston, TX; 6 grandchildren, Hunter Collette, Cameron Collette, Matthew Nunez, Luke Brister, Rebecca Brister, and Ashton Nunez.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Alverd and Enola Duhon.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 9, 2011 at 10AM in Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. Andrew Martin will officiate. Burial will follow in Grand Lake Cemetery. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 3PM-9PM and will continue Thursday from 8AM until time of service.
