Mary Katherine Theriot

Mary Katherine Theriot was the youngest of three children born to George Rolan and Mary Ann Theriot. She was born in Lake Charles, LA on December 19, 1957, and remained a lifelong resident until her passing Monday, July 3, 2023.

She was a graduate of LaGrange High School, then attended McNeese State University. She began working at Sears, then later Office Depot until her retirement in 2022.

The simpler things in life is what she enjoyed, watching classic movies, like Mcclintock and Sound of Music; or her reality tv shows, Big Brother, and Survivor. Nascar was her all-time love, she never missed a race, even enjoyed trips to Georgia with her brother and daughter to watch the races. Dale Earnhardt was her favorite driver.

In her spare time she also enjoyed gardening and tending to her yard. She never missed an opportunity to cook pancakes for her grandson, every time he came to visit. 

She was preceded in death by her parents, George Rolan and Mary Ann Theriot. 

She is survived by a daughter, Jessica Theriot and fiancé Brent Lambert; grandson, Declan; two brothers, George Theriot and Dan (Cindy) Theriot; a niece Cheryl (Tanner) Miller.

Family to welcome friends Wednesday, July 12, 2023 in chapel of Johnson Funeral Home beginning at 4:30pm til time of Rosary at 6pm.
