Mary Lou Istre

Mary Lou Istre, 63, passed away on December 29, 2020 in a local hospital.  She was born on December 7, 1957 in Pineville, La. to Marshall and Edna Mae Free.  Mary was an excellent cook, sweet, generous lady who loved babies, kids and loved spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Left to cherish her memory was her husband of 37 years, Kenneth Istre; children, Marshall James Teague and Heather Jones (James) and bonus daughter, Julie Teague; grandchildren, Rainbeaux, Levi, Beaux, Stephanie, Tyler, Emily, Xander and Oakley; great grandchildren, River, Aaliyah and Nate; sister, Shirley McDaniel and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and several grandchildren.

A gathering of friends and family will be held at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff on Monday, January 4, 2021 from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff.
