Mary Louise Broussard Davison

Mary Louise Broussard Davison, 81, of Lake Charles died at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, August 29, 2012 in a local hospital.

Mrs. Davison was born on December 09, 1930 to the parents of Ella and Adam Broussard. She was a member of St. Margaret Catholic Church. She served as a Catholic Daughter for many years. Her hobbies included reading, doing word searches and gardening (especially her beautiful roses). She also loved to play video poker hand held games in her spare time

She is survived by her children Kathy Jones (Harold) of Grant, LA, Susan Polk (John) Lake Charles, LA, Cheryl DeMary of Sulphur, LA, Mona Fraering (Mike) of Zachary, LA and Michael Davison (Gail) of North Carolina, grandchildren Maggie Jones, Nicole Arceneaux, Christopher Polk, Amy Polk, Rhonda Gass (Alton), Steven DeMary Jr.(Kayla), Dustin McGilvary, Amanda McGilvary, Kristine and William Davison, 8 great grandchildren, sister Cogie Vincent(Raymond) brother-in law Donald Roy of Slidell, LA and sister-in-law Irene Davison.

Mrs. Davison is preceded in death by her husband Abraham Davison, her parents Ella Broussard Theriot and Adam Broussard, sister Florence Broussard Roy and brother, Reed Broussard, step father William Theriot.

Her funeral will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2012 at 1:00 PM at St. Margaret Catholic Church. Father Jacob Conner will officiate. Burial will be in St. Anthony Cemetery in Lake Arthur, Louisiana under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Friday at 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM with a rosary to be held at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Saturday at 8:00 AM until 12:30 AM.
