Mary Margaret Bowles

Mary Margaret Bowles, 63, of Moss Bluff, LA passed away in Houston Methodist Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Mary loved spending time with her family and grandson Nate. Mary dearly loved her dogs, Joy, Lucy, Willow, and Toby. She enjoyed fishing, gardening, her art, and being outdoors.

Those left to cherish her memory are her loving husband of 40 years, Robert Bowles of Moss Bluff, LA; two children, Chris Bowles and wife Dana of Clever, MO and Lisa Ann Bowles of Moss Bluff, LA; one grandson, Nate Bowles of Clever, MO; one brother, Tony Meis and wife Melanie of Albuquerque, NM; and loving mother, Margarett Meis Duhon of Sulphur, LA.

She is preceded in death by her father, Cecil G. Meis; grandmother, Katie M. Boudreaux; and grandfather, Elray Boudreaux.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, June 3, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM Friday, June 3, 2016 at Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. Rick Ellis will officiate services. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
