Mary Premeaux Pego

Mrs. Mary P. Pego, 90, passed away, Thursday, January 13, 2022, in a local care facility.

Mrs. Pego was a native of Gueydan and lived most her life in Sulphur. She is survived by one daughter, one son, and daughter-in-law: eight grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband Beauford Joseph Pego; her parents, Arnold and Agnes Premeaux, and one great grandson, Koby Keever.

A Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 PM, Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church. Reverend Edward Richard will officiate. Visitation will be, Monday, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM, with a Rosary being recited at 6:30 PM. Visitation will continue, Tuesday, from 9:00 AM until departing for the church. Burial will be in Mimosa Pines South Cemetery in Carlyss under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
