Mary Sue Fry Broussard, 85, of Sulphur passed away at 3:33 AM on Thursday, January 21, 2021 in an Alexandria care facility.
Ms. Broussard was born on July 8, 1935 in Shannon, TX and was a graduate of Henrietta High School in 1952. She moved to Sulphur in the late 1960’s where she lived most of her adult life. Ms. Broussard retired from Lafarge North American Inc. after many years as a secretary. One of her proudest moments in her life was when she became an ordained minister in the state of Louisiana with the Church of God.
Those left to cherish her memory are her children, Debbie Haymark (Joe) of Lake Charles and Gary Parish (Darline) of Gillis; daughter in law, Kim Broussard of Sulphur; grandchildren, Kim Lucas (Todd) of Carlyss, Pam Stockwell (Ryan) of Jennings, JoAnn Fisette (Brian) of Moss Bluff, Jason Parish (Hannah) of Ragley, Jodi Parish (Tucker Rhoden) of Moss Bluff, and Jordan and Cameron Broussard of Sulphur; and great grandchildren, Matthew and Kayla Lucas, Alexis Addison (Cade), Jayden and Jacob Stockwell, Trent Fisette, and Jacey and Rory Parish.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ella Mae and J.W. “Hoopie” Fry; a son, Lance Broussard; and brothers, Ross and Bob Fry.

Due to the pandemic, a private graveside will be held at Prien Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home.
