Mary V. Wilson

Mary Veillon Wilson, 81, of Lake Charles, LA died on Saturday, April 2, 2011 in a local hospital.

Born January 31, 1930, in Elton, to Duray and Louise Doucet Veillon, Mrs. Wilson was a devout Catholic and a member of St. Margaret's Catholic Church. She loved bowling and her family, and in her earlier years, she enjoyed planting flowers outside. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Mrs. Wilson is survived her three children, Debbie Broussard and husband Lynn, of Lake Charles, Shawn Wilson and wife Christina of Sulphur, LA, and Connie Wilson and partner Shannon Whitney of Mandeville, LA; and three grandchildren, Jason Broussard, Rachelle Wilson, and Maxwell Wilson.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lee Wilson, and a son, Gregory Wilson.

Her funeral service will be at 10:00 AM on Monday, April 4, 2011 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Deacon Dan Landry will officiate. Burial will follow in Consolata Cemetery. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Sunday from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary at 6:00 PM. Visitation will continue on Monday from 8:00 AM until the start of the service.
