Memorial services honoring the life of Mr. Matthew Matt Broussard, 53, of Sulphur, will be held on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 in Robison Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive guest from 4pm " 6pm. Pastor Kevin Manuel will conclude the service. Mr. Broussard passed away on Thursday, December 02, 2010. Matt was a lifelong resident of Sulphur. He worked for the Sulphur Fire Dept until his heath forced him into retirement. Mr. Broussards love of sports, his knowledge and participation earned him the prestigious Jep Blake Award his senior year in high School. He was an official for Basketball, Baseball and Football games for many years at the Sulphur Parks and Recreation. He was a Saints Who Dat Fan and also LSU. He is preceded in death by his Brother, Glenn Dunn and Mother, Sue Broussard. He leaves great memories to his family: Son: Casey Broussard & wife Adrienne, Sulphur; Father: Glynn Broussard, Sulphur; 4 Sisters: Carol Allphin, Weslaco, Tx; Glynda Dougherty & husband Tony, Carlyss; Bonnie Breaux, Sulphur; Jody Sylvester & husband Eric, Lake Charles; 2 Granddaughters: Halie & Kailey Broussard, Sulphur; Aunt: Evelyn Raye Smith, Sulphur; His best 4 legged friend: Fast Eddy along with a host of other family & friends.
