Matthew Taylor Lewis

Matthew Taylor Lewis, 55, passed away July 4, 2011 in his residence. Matthew was a native and lifelong resident of Sulphur. He was a graduate of Sulphur, a jeweler and coin dealer. Matthew was a member of Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, July 9, 2011 at 11:00 am at Our Lady of Prompt Succor Catholic Church with Father Edward Richard officiating. A rosary and visitation will begin at 9:00 am and continue until service time Saturday morning at the church. Matthew is survived by his son, Lance Lewis of Sulphur, mother, Norma Lewis of Sulphur, three sisters, Susan Lewis Broussard of Carlyss, Teresa Lewis Fuselier of Moss Bluff and Cassy Lewis Ackel of Monroe, LA., mother-in-law, Marie Accardo of Monroe, LA; and numerous nieces and nephews.
