Maurice E. Wrigley

November 21, 1941 — April 22, 2015

Maurice Edwin "Moe" Wrigley, 73, of Florien, LA passed away Wednesday, April 22, 2015 in Rosepine, LA. Mr. Wrigley was born in Lake Charles, lived most of his life in Shreveport and Lake Charles and retired to Toledo Bend. He attended LaGrange High School. He worked most of his life in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, having owned and operated Air Comfort Systems for many years. During his younger years he enjoyed playing guitar with his band and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, yard work. Mr. Wrigley was a member of New Freedom Fellowship in Zwolle, LA where he played guitar. He was an admirable man of Faith and love for the Lord. Mr. Wrigley will be most remembered for his sense of humor. He leaves to honor his memory, six children, Debbie Kaufman (Vernon), Karen McDearmont (Charlie), Kim Turner, John "Skip" Wrigley (Dana), Doug Smith (Ronica) and DeeDee Patterson; numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren and five siblings, Kay Wynn (William), Tina Hebert, Altha Alexander, Charles Washburn (Belinda) and Kellie Sargent. He was preceded in death by his parents; wives, Susan Wrigley and Jerry Wrigley; a son, Maurice Wrigley and two daughters, Vickie Trotta and Rhonda Kay House. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Saturday, April 25, 2015 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Dean Hillman will officiate. Interment will follow in Prien Memorial Park. Visitation Friday will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM and will continue Saturday from 9:00 AM until the time of service in the funeral home. Pallbearers for the services will be Vernon, Chase and Cody Kaufman, Mike Trotta, TJ and Eric Addison and Terry Trahan.
