Melba K. Colston

Melba Colston, 79, of Westlake, La died Wednesday, December 3, 2014 in a local care facility. Melba Colston was born September 12, 1935 in Sulphur, La to Austin and Anna Boucher. Melba enjoyed working word puzzles, bird watching, and taking walks. She worked in the food industry for many years. She is survived by one son, Ricky Colston and wife Darlene of Madison, AL; three grandchildren, Kristen Alexander and husband Joseph of Madison, AL, Kenneth Colston and wife Jordan of Minneapolis, Minnesota, Brandon Colston and wife Erica of Colorado Springs, CO; great grandchildren, Claire and Camille Alexander , Kaylin Colston , Devin and Averi ; and two brothers, Louis Albert Boucher of Sulphur, La and Austin Boucher of Washington. She is preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers, Vincent Emerson Boucher and Melvin Lawrence Boucher. Services will be at 3:00 PM Friday, December 5, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM Friday, December 5, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Westlake Memorial Cemetery. The family will officiate services.
