Melissa Soileau Fee Bertrand

Melissa Soileau Fee Bertrand, 82, of Sulphur passed away on December 31, 2015.

She enjoyed reading, crafts, French music, dancing and was a caretaker of the elderly. Melissa was very proud of her Cajun Lifestyle and Heritage. She loved being with her family and friends and will be missed by all who knew her.

Melissa is survived by her seven children, Carolyn Boyd and husband Robert, Thomas Fee, Gary Fee and wife Vickie all of Sulphur, James Fee and wife Elle of North Dallas, TX, Henry Fee and wife Cheryl of San Marcos, TX, Keith Fee of Sulphur and Celia Reeves of Brookland, TX; 21 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ewell and Celia Soileau; 3 brothers; a twin sister; and 2 grandchildren, Danny and Christopher Fee.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Sunday, January 3, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at Our Lady of LaSalette Catholic Church in Sulphur with Father Bino Francis, M.S. officiating. Burial will be in Big Woods Cemetery in Edgerly under the direction of Johnson and Robison Funeral. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 4-9 P.M. with a rosary at 6 P.M. at Johnson and Robison Funeral Home. Visitation will continue on Sunday, January 3, 2016 from 9 A.M. until time of leaving for the church.
