Melvin "Glenn" Labby

Melvin Glenn Labby, 59, died Thursday, January 23, 2014 at 4:00 PM surrounded by his family. Glenn was born November 17, 1954 to Melvin Huber Labby and Ella Mae Labby. He will forever be known as: "Exciting Dude" "Daddy Green" and "Poppy" to his family. Glenn was known for his Godliness and great love for his family and friends. He enjoyed fishing, outdoors, road trips, vacationing and entertaining his family. He was the life of the party. His family would like you to remember "Daddy Green" for his good times and living life to the fullest. Survivors include his high school sweetheart and wife of 39 years, Ann LeBert Labby; daughters, Brandy Styles and husband Chris of Monroe, WA, Dusty Labby of Humble, TX, Bethany Labby and Charity Labby; one son, Joshua Labby and wife Loren of Vinton, LA; grandchildren Grant and Garrett Styles, and Cody and Emma Labby ; two brothers, Dale Labby and wife Cheryl, Bobby Labby ; one sister, Becky Turner and husband Willie; and nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents and brother, Don Labby. The family is having a private celebration of life. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home.
