Merle Berwick

Merle Allen Berwick, 67, of Sulphur, LA died on Tuesday, January 16, 2024, surrounded by his loving family. Merle was born on November 26, 1956, in Orange, TX to Ellis and Dorothy Berwick. He enjoyed gardening, hunting, fishing, and cooking. His biggest love was being around family and friends. Merle loved his two dogs, Annabelle and Bella. He worked many years in Management in the Construction Industry.

Those left to cherish his memory are his four loving children, Jace Allen Berwick and wife Amy, Jennifer Ann Berwick and Jason, Lori Nicole Callegari and husband Gianni and Corey Ellis Berwick and wife Mackenzie; ten grandchildren, Nathan, Jayde, Jerik, Lyndon, Bryce, Hagen, Hannah, Jevin, Emma and Davin; great grandchildren, Ivy, Everleigh, Willow, Lennox, Atley, Braxton,  Lucas, Addelynn, Bryson, Ryan, Maelie, and Memphis; his sister, Lynn Haynes; numerous nieces and nephews including Matthew who was dear to his heart; and his three closest friends, Butch, Freddie and Bart.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his brother, Norman, and loving wife, Deborah Berwick.

A celebration of life for Merle will be held on Sunday, January 21, 2024, from 9 AM to 1 PM at the KC Hall on Tana Street.

Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson and Robison Funeral Home.
