Michael Charles Lombardo

Michael Charles Lombardo, 74, passed away on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 in a Houston, TX hospital.

Mr. Lombardo was born on January 28, 1946 in Trenton, NJ to Charles and Mary Tollis Lombardo.  He was a boat captain for over 20 years, and the Director of Operations for the Isle of Capri Casino Resort for over 10 years. He also worked for Omega Protein.  He loved music, and played guitar locally for church functions and the senior center.

Those left to cherish his memory include his five children, Michael Lombardo, Jr., Marcus Lombardo, Matthew Lombardo (Marie), Monica Cook (Marshall Seay), and Beth Orvis; sisters, Louise Kelly, and Denise Richards (Bill); grandchildren, Drema Saucier, Tiffany and Joshua Lombardo, Cody, Anthony, and Joshua Cook, Desiree Weidert, and Matthew Lombardo, Sabrina, Sophia, and Alyssa Lombardo; great grandchildren, Lilly Lombardo, and Kaylee and Wyatt Saucier.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and his beloved wife, Rosemary Lombardo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 17, 2020 at St. Pius Catholic Church in Ragley, LA.  Burial will follow in Magnolia Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Lake Charles.
