Michael P. Sonnier

Michael Paul Sonnier, 59, of Ragley, LA died on Friday, January 22, 2016 in a local hospital.

Michael was born on October 15, 1956 in Lake Charles, LA to Bobby and Beverly Sonnier. He was a member of St. Theodore Catholic Church and was a past alter server. He was also a member of the Local 406 for 41 years. Michael enjoyed his grandchildren, riding horses, and spending time with family and friends. He also enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson and being in the company of his dog.

He is survived by his two sons, Jason Perkins and Austin Sonnier; one daughter, Leslie Sonnier Spell; mother, Beverly Sonnier; fiancée, Trisha Foreman; two sisters, Debra Ardoin and Tiger Teague; and two granddaughters, Rylee and Lilly.

A Memorial service will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016 at 1:00 PM at St. Theodore Catholic under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Monday, January 25, 2016 from 10:00 AM until 1:00 PM with a rosary beginning at 12:00PM. Father John Huckaby will officiate.
