Michael Paul Lacombe

Michael Paul LaCombe, 53, of Lake Charles passed away at 10:41 PM on Sunday, February 12, 2023 in a local hospital.

Paul was born on July 11, 1969 in Lake Charles where he was a lifelong resident and a graduate of Parkway Christian Academy.  He began his 34-year career as a second generation production operator and later assumed the title of lead production operator.  His job was his passion, and he greatly appreciated the beauty of working on the Gulf of Mexico. 

He took pleasure in riding Harley Davidsons and he immensely enjoyed cooking large meals for family and friends for several occasions. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Michael Paul LaCombe, II; a daughter, Courtney Collins; parents, Shirley and L.J. Saltzman; sisters, Pennie Bowman and Alyssa Chapman; fiancé, Kyleen Weaver; and granddaughter, Madilyn Collins all of Lake Charles.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Lois North and his maternal grandfather, George North.

A visitation will begin on Friday, February 17, 2023 from 2:00 PM until 5:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home.  Cremation will follow the visitation.
