Michael Shane Daley

Michael Shane Daley, 31, of Longville, LA died on Friday, August 24, 2012 in Ragley.

Michael was born on February 17, 1981 to the parents of Chad Daley and Lorraine Leeds in Lake Charles. He lived most of his life in the Ragley area. He attended South Beauregard High School. Michael worked as a truck driver and as a heavy equipment operator for many years. He was of the Catholic Faith. In his spare time he enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, driving tractors and spending time with friends.

He is survived by his wife Clara Daley, one son Bradley Daley, one daughter, Allison Daley all of Longville, LA, mother, Lorraine Leeds, step-father, Butch Leeds, Jr. father, Chad Daley, grandmother, Ethel LeBlanc, uncle, Tommy Gray and wife Debby Gray, two aunts, Susaune White and husband Mac White, Katherine LeBlanc, step brother, William Leeds, two-step sisters, Helen Barg and Ester Leeds, paternal grandparents, Phillip and Darla Daley, two uncles, Scott Daley and Kirk Daley.

Michael is preceded in death by his grandfather Luther LeBlanc.

His funeral will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at the Magnolia Baptist Church in Ragley. Rev. David Lilley will officiate. Burial will be in LeBlanc Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will begin on Monday at 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM at the Church. Visitation will continue on Tuesday at 10:00 AM until the time of services.
