Michael Wayne “Mike” Boudreaux, Sr., 50, of Westlake passed away at 2:20 AM on Monday, August 20, 2018 in a local hospital.
Mr. Boudreaux was born on July 7, 1968 in Sulphur where he attended Sulphur High School before moving to Westlake 25 years ago. He enjoyed his job with Lake Tool and Hydraulics and worked there for more than 25 years until recently due to his health.
He was an avid Saints fan and took pleasure in fixing and building things in his free time. His greatest joys were his granddaughters, who affectionately called him “Paw Paw.”
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife, Trudy Boudreaux of Westlake; daughter, Megan Crockett (Christopher) of Westlake; son, Michael Boudreaux, Jr. also of Westlake; two sisters, Charlotte Johnson (Tony) of Edgerly and Patricia Marcantel of Iowa; two beloved granddaughters, Hadleigh and newborn, Charlee Crockett; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mable and David Boudreaux and an infant brother, Larry David Boudreaux.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 in the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Christopher Wilrye will officiate. Burial will follow in Big Woods Cemetery. Visitation will begin on Tuesday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and will continue on Wednesday from 9:00 AM until the start of the service.
