Mildred "Millie" Pabst

Mildred “Millie” Pabst, 69, of Lake Charles, LA, died at 8:10 PM on Wednesday, March 21, 2018 at a local hospital.

Millie was born June 29, 1948 in Lafayette, LA, was a 1966 graduate of LaGrange High School and attended McNeese State University, where she majored in music. She sold Avon for over twenty years and loved animals, especially her cats. She will always be remembered for her joyful and caring personality.

Millie is survived by her husband Mike Pabst; son, James Howard Mangham of Palestine, TX; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Leslie Phillips; and sisters, Joy Martin and Beth Baird.

Her funeral service will be 1:00 PM on Monday, March 26, 2018 at the Johnson Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Ronnie Estes will officiate. Burial will follow in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will be at the funeral home on Monday from 11:00 AM until the start of the service.
