Millie Williams

Millie G. Williams. 86, of Lake Charles died at 7:05 AM Tuesday, January 29, 2013 in a local care facility.

Mrs. Williams was born in Avoyelles Parish on March 3, 1926. She has lived in Lake Charles for most of her life. Mrs. Williams was of the Catholic Faith. A wife of 50 years and a mother of four children. She enjoyed and excelled in the art of greenery, cooking and keeping a home. She enjoyed her life, kept a very sharp mind, and was always quick with a joke. Thoughts of mother will always remain with us. She shall not be forgotten.

She is survived by two sons, Ricky Williams and Walter (Wally) Williams both of Houston, TX, two daughters, Lana Cranford of Jacksonville, FL, and Donna Falcon and husband Don of Lake Charles, LA, one granddaughter, two great grandchildren, three sisters and one brother, and a longtime close friend Rhea Bergeron of Lake Charles, LA

Mrs. Williams is preceded in death by her loving husband Walter. M. Williams.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 1, 2013 at 2:30 PM at Johnson Funeral Home. Rev. Chris Fusilier will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation will begin on Friday at 1:00 PM until the time of services.
