Misty Digiglia Sicks

Mrs. Misty D. Sicks passed away Saturday, April 30, 2011 with her family and friends by her side after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born January 14, 1947 to Joseph and Paula DiGiglia. She was born in Orange, TX and a resident of Lake Charles.

Mrs. Sicks was a member of the Buccaneers of Lake Charles and she was a long standing member of the American Kennel Club. She was a friend to many and she will be missed dearly by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband of 33 years, Charles R. Sicks; two daughters, Shyla Sicks of Houston, Brandi Prince and husband Hadley of Sulphur; three grandchildren, Shayna Prince, Payton Prince, Aydan Grace Prince; one brother, Paul DiGiglia.

Preceded in death by her brother, Terri DiGiglia.

Funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 11:00AM in Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Prien Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held Tuesday from 6pm-9pm and will continue Wednesday from 8am until time of service.

The family would like to extend special thanks to her Doctors, nurses and the staff of Christus St. Patrick Hospital and Women's and Children's Hospital for their care throughout her illness. And also a special thanks to her friends for their love and support.
