Mitchell Wayne O’Quain, 59, of Sulphur died unexpectedly on March 13, 2022, in the arms of his beloved wife.
Mitchell was born on January 8, 1963, to Hoppy and Patsy Lee O’Quain.
He married his soulmate, Christina, in 1985 and they had three incredible sons whom Mitchell loved dearly. He always took time to remind them that they should always be themselves, no matter what others think, and how important a man’s word and work ethic are in life.
He enjoyed nothing more than spending time with loved ones, cracking open a cold beer, and cranking the music up by the river. He never left home without a Dr. Pepper and smile on his face. He cherished time spent with his grandchildren, fishing and goofing off. He will always be remembered for his love of putting the pedal to the metal and Kid Rock.
Mitchell is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Christina; sons Chevie (Angela) and Harley; grandson Caiden "Baby Boy" and granddaughter Aubrey "Sister"; siblings Dixie and Jason; godchildren, Chelsea Robinson, Kelsey Broussard, and Gabriel Istre, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his son Dustin “Bull”; parents Hoppy and Patsy Lee, and brother Wade.
Visitation will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022at Johnson & Robison funeral home at 9 am, and funeral service at 12 pm. Burial will at follow at Big Woods cemetery.
