Monte Graydon Goss, 31, of Lake Charles died Saturday August 3, 2013 at his residence.
He was born in Lake Charles on September 12, 1981. He was a graduate of Sulphur High School, attended McNeese State University and was employed at the Lake Charles Country Club as the food and beverage director. He was passionate about cooking, loved to play golf and an avid, lifelong fan of the Boston Red Sox.
He is survived by his wife, Nikki Buxton Goss, Lake Charles; daughters, Abbey Claire Puckett, Katy, TX and Audrey Mae Goss, Lake Charles; father, Jimmy Graydon Goss; mother, Songa Morris Gremillion and stepfather, Ronnie, Port Arthur, Texas; sisters, Stephanie LaFosse and husband Michael, Moss Bluff and Ashley Forman and husband Blake, Sulphur; and father-in-law, Barney Buxton, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Visitation will be at Johnson Funeral Home from 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM Wednesday August 7, 2013 at Johnson Funeral Home with a rosary to be led at 6:00 PM by Fathers Keith Pellerin and Marcus Johnson. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday at Johnson Funeral Home with Rev. Lonnie Gothrup officiating. Burial will follow at Consolota Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to a special account to benefit the family at IBERIABANK and Chase Bank in the name of Anya Nicole Buxton Goss.
