Morris Clayborn Smith, Jr.

Morris Clayborn Smitty Smith, Jr., 58, of Sulphur, died suddenly Friday October 26, 2012 at his residence.

Smitty led a full life of sports, adventure and travel, including offshore fishing, racing, and visiting other cities and states for special events and festivals. . He will be greatly missed by many.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Morris C. Smith, Sr. and Minnie L. Rector Smith. Those left to cherish and honor his memory are his two sons, Michael Wayne and Robert Boyd; three siblings and their families: a brother, Derrick Smith, Sulphur; two sisters, Darlene Harvey, Sandston, VA and Drema Respass of Manteo, North Carolina as well as a host of friends all over the United States.

Cremation was entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home. Private graveside services with family and friends will be held at a later date, with burial of his ashes with his beloved parents.
