Murray David Doucet, Sr.

Murray David Doucet, 67, passed away on Monday, September 12, 2022 in his residence. 

Murray was born on March 27, 1955 in Lafayette, La to John Doucet and Ruth Guillory Doucet.  He served honorably in the United States Marine Corps. for 20 years.  He loved watching the New Orleans Saints football, Tom & Jerry and game shows.  Mr. Doucet also loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 50 years, Mary Doucet; children, Murray Doucet, Jr., Chris Doucet (Crystal) and Michael Doucet (Ashleigh); 18 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren; siblings, Linda and Tammy and numerous nieces and nephews.  He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm on Monday, September 19, 2022 at Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff with Rev. Jared Pugh officiating.  Visitation will be on Monday from 11:00am until service time at the funeral home. Cremation has been entrusted to Johnson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff.
