Murrel Del Precht

Murrel Del "Murnie" Precht, 73, of Sweetlake, LA died Saturday, October 11, 2014 in her residence. Murrel was born on October, 4, 1941 in Lake Charles, LA to William and Rose Poole. She was a lifelong resident of Sweetlake, LA. She loved being around her family and friends. She enjoyed the outdoors and gardening. She had a special touch for growing things and loved cooking for many people. She is survived by one son, Tommy Precht and wife Yvette of Sweetlake, LA; three grandchildren, Seth and wife Ashley, Ethan and Erin; two great grandchildren, Lily and Eliza; and numerous nieces and nephews; brothers, Richard and wife Dale Poole and Roderick Poole and wife Lenora; one sister, Greta Brown and husband Robert. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband, Herman Thomas "Budgie" Precht. Funeral services will be at 11:00 AM Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home. Visitation will resume at 8:00 AM until 11:00 AM Thursday, October 16, 2014 at Johnson Funeral Home. Burial will be at Highland Cemetery. Rev. Andrew Martin will officiate services.
